Jakab Máté

Coach Máté has extensive international experience across Europe, Oceania, and the United States. Recognized for his expertise in player development, modern coaching methodologies, and high-performance basketball, he has built an impressive career working at the highest levels of the game.

Career Highlights:

• Head Coach of the Hungarian Women's 3x3 National Team.

• Coach in the NBA Summer League with the Sacramento Kings (2024 & 2025).

• Member of the coaching staff in the Unrivaled professional league (USA), working alongside some of the world's top female basketball players.

• Assistant Coach for the New Zealand Breakers (Australian NBL).

• Assistant Coach for Brose Bamberg (German Basketball Bundesliga).

• Former coach in Hungary's top professional league with MAFC Budapest and Szolnoki Olaj, contributing to Hungarian League and Hungarian Cup championship-winning teams.

• Became one of the youngest head coaches in Hungary's first division.
